Le Quattro Stagioni
Album by Antonio Vivaldi & Jakub Jakowicz & Sinfonia Varsovia
Le quattro stagioni is a set of four violin concertos by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, published in 1725. These Baroque concertos employ programme music that evokes the seasons through vivid solo violin writing, contrasting textures and ritornello form, and were published as part of his Op. 8, illustrating Vivaldi's role in shaping the solo concerto and programme composition in the early 18th century.
