Gran Partita is a serenade for wind ensemble by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1781-1782. The work unfolds across seven movements for an expanded wind choir and double bass, showcasing lyrical solo lines, intricate counterpoint and rich harmonic colour that exemplify Mozart's mature Viennese style and substantially expanded the expressive possibilities of wind chamber music in the late 18th century.
