The Mass in B minor is a musical setting of the complete Latin Mass by Johann Sebastian Bach, completed in 1749. The work uses Baroque vocal and instrumental forces in large-scale polyphonic and contrapuntal structures that synthesise movements drawn from across Bach's career, occupying a late, summative position in his output and in the history of Baroque sacred music.
