Les quatre saisons is a set of four violin concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, published in 1725. The work is in the Baroque concerto style and uses programme music to portray seasonal scenes through solo violin, string ensemble and continuo, and it was published during Vivaldi's mature period and contributed to his reputation for virtuosic violin writing.
