Cello Concerto Op. 104

Album by Antonín Dvořák & Yo‐Yo Ma & Berliner Philharmoniker & Lorin Maazel

Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104 is a concerto by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, completed in 1895. It blends late-Romantic orchestral writing with Bohemian folk-influenced melodies and a prominently lyrical cello part set against rich orchestral textures, and, composed near the end of Dvořák's life, it exemplifies his mature style and occupies a central place in the cello concerto repertoire.
