Piano Quartets

Album by Camille Saint‐Saëns & Mozart Piano Quartet

Piano Quartets are a set of chamber works by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, composed between 1875 and 1919. They use Romantic harmonic language and classical forms and pair the piano with a string trio, with textures that range from lyrical slow movements to brisk, rhythmically driven passages, and they occupy a position in Saint-Saëns's chamber output between his middle and late career.
