The Epic of Gilgamesh is a cantata by Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů, completed in 1955. It is a large-scale choral and orchestral work that uses modernist harmonies and shifting rhythms, and it is one of his late works that returns to dramatic settings of ancient texts.
