Serenade for Strings is a serenade for string orchestra by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, composed in 1880. The work combines graceful, chamber-like textures and lyrical Romantic melodies within classical multi-movement structures, and is often cited as an example of Tchaikovsky's mature output for strings.
