String Quartets Nos. 10 and 14 are chamber works by Austrian composer Franz Schubert, composed in 1813 and 1824 respectively. They contrast Schubert's early Classical lyricism with his late-period intensity, the later quartet emphasising dramatic harmonic shifts, recurring motifs and the transformation of song material, illustrating a decisive development in his chamber-music output and its influence on the repertoire.
