Symphony No. 38 in D major, K. 504 and Symphony No. 39 in E flat major, K. 543 are symphonies by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1786 and 1788 respectively. Both works use Classical-era orchestration with prominent wind parts, expanded harmonic ideas and varied orchestral textures, and they come from Mozart's late Vienna years when he moved toward larger-scale orchestral forms.
