Persephassa

Persephassa is a 1969 composition for six percussionists by Greek-French composer Iannis Xenakis. The piece features dense, overlapping rhythmic masses, stochastic-influenced structures and the spatialisation of performers around the audience, and it is representative of Xenakis's late 1960s exploration of percussion, mathematical models and architectural approaches to sound.
