Ninetet (Yoshi's) 1997 Vol. 1 is a live album by American composer and saxophonist Anthony Braxton, recorded at Yoshi's in 1997. The album documents Braxton's large-ensemble approach to avant-garde jazz, emphasising complex compositions, extended improvisation and dense contrapuntal textures that illustrate his explorations of compositional systems and expanded improvisatory structures in the late 1990s.
