Dis is an album by Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek, released in 1977. The record presents spare, atmospheric jazz with ambient textures, plaintive saxophone lines and Nordic folk-inflected motifs, marking a move towards the sparse, spacious sound that characterised Garbarek's late-1970s output and his place within the European jazz aesthetic.
