Chandos Anthems is a collection of sacred choral works by George Frideric Handel, composed around 1717–1718. The works represent Handel's early English sacred output, combining solo voices, choir and a small Baroque orchestra with concentrated word-setting and dramatic contrasts that synthesised Italianate operatic elements with English liturgical traditions.
