Symphonie N°3 'Héroique' is the third symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven, completed in 1804. The composition expands the classical symphonic form with longer movements, expanded harmonic language, bold thematic material and striking contrasts, and it is the beginning of Beethoven's middle period when he wrote larger-scale works with greater formal complexity.
