Brandenburgische Konzerte Nos. 1-3 are the first three of the six Brandenburg Concertos by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach, compiled and presented as a set in 1721. They exemplify high Baroque concerto grosso writing, featuring contrasts between solo groups and the full ensemble, distinctive and colourful instrumentation, and contrapuntal textures that reflect Bach's work for court and ecclesiastical contexts.
