Sinfonie Nr. 10 Fis-dur
Album by Gustav Mahler & Konzerthausorchester Berlin & Kurt Sanderling
Symphony No. 10 in F-sharp major is the tenth symphony by Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, composed in 1910-1911. A largely unfinished late-Romantic work, it employs dense, chromatic orchestration, abrupt shifts of mood and an advanced harmonic vocabulary that mark a transition in Mahler's output toward a more introspective and experimentally inclined late style and foreshadow developments in early 20th-century music.
