Inception

Album by McCoy Tyner

Inception is the debut studio album by American jazz pianist McCoy Tyner, released in 1962. The music is rooted in modal jazz and post-bop language, with strong left-hand voicings, rich harmonic textures, expansive improvisation and a firm rhythmic drive, and it is the first album that shows Tyner's developing personal style early in his career.
