Kraanerg

Kraanerg is a 1969 composition by Greek-French composer Iannis Xenakis. Written for orchestra with an electroacoustic tape component and conceived for dance, it juxtaposes dense orchestral blocks, noise-like textures and abrupt discontinuities that reflect Xenakis's use of mathematical processes and theatrical spatialisation, and is representative of his late-1960s explorations of electronics and large-scale form.
