Symphony No. 8 in C minor is the eighth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1887 and revised in 1890. The work is characterised by expansive structures, broad tempi, dense orchestration with prominent brass and organ-like textures and extensive developmental passages, and it occupies a central position among Bruckner's late symphonies and within the Austro-German Romantic symphonic tradition.
