Symphony No. 7 is the seventh symphony by Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, completed in 1905. Musically it combines late-Romantic orchestration, striking use of timbre and contrasting nocturnal and exuberant episodes, reflecting Mahler's late-period experimentation and occupying a transitional place in his symphonic oeuvre.
