Silver Machine

Silver Machine is a single by English space rock band Hawkwind, released in 1972. The recording combines driving, fuzz-laden guitar, motorik rhythms and prominent synthesiser textures within a psychedelic/space-rock framework, and it occupies a pivotal place in the band's early catalogue as an example of their move towards more compact, single-oriented releases that brought their experimental sound into broader public awareness.
