Symphony No. 1 (Unrevised Linz version, ed. Haas/Carragan) is a version of the first symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, dating from 1866. Rooted in the late-Romantic orchestral tradition, it displays expansive symphonic structures, prominent brass chorales and contrapuntal textures that characterise Bruckner's early symphonic voice, and the Linz version documents an early stage in his compositional development.
