Symphony No. 6 is the sixth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1881. The work is a late-Romantic orchestral symphony characterised by expansive structures, contrapuntal textures and shifting tonal relationships, and it occupies a transitional place in Bruckner's output between his middle-period works and his later, more expansive symphonies.
