Symphony No. 9 "The Great" together with the incidental music from Rosamunde is a collection of orchestral works by Austrian composer Franz Schubert, composed in 1825–1826. These pieces exemplify Schubert's late style, melding Classical forms with expansive, lyrical melodies, adventurous harmonic turns and broad orchestral textures, and they represent some of his final large-scale orchestral works that helped bridge Classical clarity and the emerging Romantic symphonic idiom.
