Blythe Spirit is a studio album by American jazz saxophonist Arthur Blythe, released in 1981. The music blends hard bop and free jazz with Blythe's bright alto lines, rhythmic grooves and arranged horn parts, and it follows his late 1970s work as he moved toward more structured ensembles in his early 1980s recordings.
