Lyric Pieces is a collection of short piano pieces by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, published in ten volumes between 1867 and 1901. The pieces blend Romantic-era lyricism with folk-influenced melodies, characteristic harmonies and varied piano textures, and they constitute a major portion of Grieg's output for solo piano and an important element in late-Romantic Scandinavian music.
