String Quartets

Album by Franz Schubert & Artemis Quartet

String Quartets is a set of chamber works by Austrian composer Franz Schubert, composed between 1813 and 1828. They are part of the classical chamber music repertoire and are lyrical and harmonic in style, and they show a move from early classical forms to more expansive late works that use melody, modulation and rich textures in four-part string writing.
