Symphony no. 8

Symphony No. 8 is the eighth symphony by Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, completed in 1906. The work is a late-Romantic, large-scale symphony that employs massive orchestral forces alongside multiple choirs and soloists, blending symphonic and choral traditions and representing a key example of Mahler's late-period exploration of scale, tonality and orchestral colour in his career.
