Oboe Concerto in C major / Horn Concerto no. 1
Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Mozart Festival Orchestra & Alberto Lizzio
The Oboe Concerto in C major and Horn Concerto No. 1 are concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1777 and in the early 1780s respectively. Both are Classical-period works that pair lyrical solo lines for wind instruments with balanced orchestral accompaniment, and they appear in Mozart's middle-period output as examples of his writing for wind soloists.

First released: October 1998
