Silk Electric is a studio album by American singer Diana Ross, released in 1982. The album blends pop and R&B with glossy early 1980s production, with synthesiser textures, funk-tinged rhythms and both uptempo songs and ballads, and it came after Ross had established her solo career following her time with The Supremes.
