La Resurrezione is an oratorio by George Frideric Handel, first performed in 1708. Rooted in the Baroque vocal-orchestral tradition, it employs solo arias, recitatives, choral passages and basso continuo with period instrumental forces, and it sits within Handel's early Italian period as part of his development of dramatic sacred narrative.
