Prince Igor is an opera by Russian composer Alexander Borodin, first performed in 1890. The music is rooted in late Romantic Russian nationalism with folk-influenced melodies and broad choral writing, and the score was left unfinished at his death and completed afterwards, so the work occupies a major place in his stage output.
