Symphony No. 9 'From the New World' is the ninth symphony by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, completed in 1893. Composed during his time in the United States, it blends late-Romantic orchestral writing with themes influenced by American folk elements and African-American spirituals and is Dvořák's final completed symphony, reflecting a synthesis of his Bohemian roots with new American influences.
