Music to Be Murdered By is Eminem's eleventh studio album, released without prior announcement on 17 January 2020, inspired by Alfred Hitchcock and his 1958 album Alfred Hitchcock Presents Music to Be Murdered By, and grounded in hip hop with trap elements. It centres on dark, violent and introspective themes with Hitchcock-referencing interludes, and was later expanded with the deluxe edition Music to Be Murdered By – Side B in December 2020.
