The Three Suites for Solo Cello, Op. 72, are a set of works for unaccompanied cello by English composer Benjamin Britten, composed in 1964. They combine modernist harmonic language, extended cello techniques and allusions to Baroque dance forms, and occupy a notable place in Britten's output as his principal works for unaccompanied cello written for a leading cellist of the period.
