Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major is a symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, composed in 1875–1876. The work is an expansive late-Romantic symphony characterised by complex counterpoint, prominent brass writing, expansive development sections and dense harmonic language, and it occupies a central place in Bruckner's symphonic output as an example of his mature structural and contrapuntal approach.
