Piano Sonatas op. 109, 110, 111

Album by Ludwig van Beethoven & Alexei Lubimov

Piano Sonatas Op. 109, Op. 110 and Op. 111 are the final three piano sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven, composed and published between 1820 and 1822. They exemplify Beethoven's late style, characterised by expanded harmonic language, formal experimentation, introspective slow movements and variation-based finales that pushed the expressive and structural boundaries of the piano sonata within his late-period output.
