Symphonie N° 9 en mi mineur, op. 95 "Nouveau monde"
Album by Antonín Dvořák & Česká filharmonie & Karel Ančerl
Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95, 'From the New World' is a symphony by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, composed in 1893. Combining Bohemian melodic idioms with musical influences Dvořák encountered in the United States, it features expansive themes, evocative orchestration and bold rhythmic gestures, and it occupies a central place in his late orchestral output as the work composed during his American years.
