Symphony No. 4 in E-flat major, "Romantic", is the fourth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1874. The work features expansive, lyrical themes, prominent brass chorales and rich orchestral colour within a late-Romantic idiom, and it occupies a central place in Bruckner's output as he developed his large-scale symphonic architecture and assimilated Wagnerian harmonic language.
