The Inflated Tear
Album by Rahsaan Roland Kirk
The Inflated Tear is a studio album by American jazz multi-instrumentalist Roland Kirk, released in 1968. Musically it is rooted in post-bop and soul jazz and has Kirk employ multiple reed instruments and circular-breathing techniques to create dense, improvisatory textures with blues inflection and orchestral colour, and it came as he increased his experimental use of instruments in his recording career.
