Les nuits d'été / Lélio is a pairing of a song cycle and a dramatic mélodrama by French composer Hector Berlioz, composed in 1841 and 1831 respectively. The music combines Romantic lyricism for solo voice and rich orchestral colour in the song cycle with theatrical monologue, chorus and episodic orchestral writing in the mélodrama, and both works sit in the phase of Berlioz's career when he expanded his orchestral palette and mixed narrative with music.
