Symphony No. 9 is the ninth and final symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, composed between 1894 and 1896. The work epitomises late-Romantic orchestral writing with vast structural arcs, dense harmonic language and prominent brass and string sonorities, and it stands as an unfinished culmination of Bruckner's symphonic output in the history of late 19th-century symphonic music.
