Symphony No. 96 in D major ('Miracle') and Symphony No. 99 in E-flat major are symphonies by Joseph Haydn, composed in the early 1790s (1791 and 1793 respectively). Both are part of Haydn's later 'London' symphonies and exemplify Classical-era orchestral clarity with balanced sonata forms, prominent wind writing, rhythmic vitality and expanded harmonic colour that reflect Haydn refining his symphonic language during his London period.
