Impromptus
Album by Franz Schubert & Albert Ferber
Impromptus is a collection of piano pieces by Austrian composer Franz Schubert, composed in 1827. The works are marked by lyrical melodies, intimate piano textures, abrupt shifts of mood and bold harmonic progressions, and they form part of Schubert's late piano output that points towards the expressive expansion of the Romantic piano repertoire.

First released: December 1988
