Comedy on the Bridge is a one-act opera by Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů, written in 1935. The score blends neoclassical forms with folk-influenced melodies and a sharp rhythmic drive, and it followed a period in which Martinů moved from late Romanticism toward a more spare, rhythmically focused style.
