Symphony no. 8

Symphony No. 8 is a symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1887. The work is a large-scale late-Romantic symphony characterised by expansive structures, dense orchestration and prominent brass writing, reflecting Bruckner's harmonic language and contrapuntal technique; it represents the culmination of his symphonic output and a key example of Austro-German symphonic writing of the late 19th century.
