Three Piano Concertos
Album by Joseph Haydn & Wiener Concert-Verein & Paul Badura‐Skoda
Three Piano Concertos is a collection of piano concertos by Joseph Haydn, composed between the 1760s and 1780s. They are in the Classical style, with clear forms, balanced phrasing and light orchestration that put the keyboard in dialogue with the orchestra, and they relate to Haydn's early to middle career as he developed the keyboard concerto while instruments shifted from harpsichord to fortepiano.
