Symphonie Nr. 8 in B minor 'Unvollendete' and the Musik zu Rosamunde are orchestral works by Franz Schubert, composed in 1822–1823. They illustrate Schubert's move from Classical structures toward early Romantic expression, characterised by long, lyrical melodies, inventive harmonic shifts and vivid orchestral colouring that place them in his mature output and an important position within 19th-century orchestral repertoire.
