Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major is the fifth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1876. The work is a large-scale Romantic symphony characterised by dense orchestration, complex polyphony and extended harmonic language, and it occupies a central place in Bruckner's symphonic output as an exemplar of his mature structural and orchestral approach.
